Dr. Saif Dawod Alrashid

Background & Training

Dr. Saif Dawod Alrashid graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland — Medical University of Bahrain (RCSI-MUB). He subsequently completed his core psychiatric training at Al Rasheed Hospital, Amman, one of the leading psychiatric institutions in Jordan.

He then pursued advanced specialty training in General Adult Psychiatry and Addiction Psychiatry in the United Kingdom, where he successfully obtained the MRCPsych qualification from the Royal College of Psychiatrists — the highest psychiatric qualification in the UK.

Dr. Alrashid returned to Amman with a commitment to bringing evidence-based, internationally trained psychiatric care to the local community, and to reducing the stigma surrounding mental health in Jordan and the wider Arab world.
